Um Angan
Meet The Founder
ANGAN was founded by Iris Laxdal, an architect turned natural skincare formulator, driven by a deep love for nature and holistic wellbeing.
When burnout and stress began showing up on her skin, she turned to nature for answers. Unable to find products gentle enough for her sensitive skin and truly free from synthetics and irritants, she began creating her own.
What started as small-batch formulas in her kitchen grew into something greater. ANGAN was born. Rooted in the raw, unspoiled nature of Iceland, ANGAN offers pure, organic and wild-harvested skincare crafted to calm, restore and nourish.
Each product is a mindful ritual, an invitation to slow down, reconnect with yourself, and embrace the wild beauty of Iceland.

Arctic Beauty
ANGAN is a skincare brand crafting high-quality, effective products from pure, organic, and wildcrafted ingredients.
We work with nature to create nourishing skincare that is ethical, sustainable, and lovingly made in our own studio. Our formulas use only clean, natural ingredients from sustainable sources, good for your skin and the planet.
Inspired by Icelandic traditions like bathing in geothermal pools and using wild arctic botanicals, our products are rooted in centuries of healing wisdom. At ANGAN, you are the focus.
We are here to help you slow down, care for yourself, and feel calm, balanced, and confident.

Minimal Waste
We draw from Iceland’s wild landscape, using herbs that thrive in pure, mineral-rich soil and sea salt produced with natural geothermal energy. Our ingredients are always vegan, cruelty-free, and free from parabens, silicones, sulfates, and other harmful compounds.
Every product is handcrafted in small batches at our studio, letting us oversee water use, energy, and emissions. Our goal? Zero waste, with carefully managed carbon footprint and fresh, potent formulations.
We wrap our formulas in recyclable glass, paper, and minimal plastic. Outer boxes are printed with vegetable inks. We also offer refills for our products in our studio so bottles can be cleaned, refilled, and reused — again and again.
